Villa Details
Villa Virani is a recently completed faithful reconstruction of a pre-existing mansion from the island’s prosperous early nineteenth century, when Hydra’s considerable naval and commercial power was predominant in the region, and the urban and architectural character of its populous, densely built, principal settlement was fully developed.
This property enjoys unobstructed, 360-degree views of the impeccably preserved settlement embracing the picturesque port, and the Saronic Gulf up to the mountains of the Peloponnese.
Villa Virani has been constructed combining traditional methods and modern techniques. It has an installed system which stores and filters rainwater that covers all the needs of the house, all year round. The villa has no AC and equipped with underfloor cooling.
The 330 square meters develops over three floors.
The first floor houses three large bedrooms all with access to private terraces, and two bathrooms, while a fourth, single-bedroom with en-suite bathroom is located near the entrance to the property.
On the second floor, there is a large entrance hall and WC, a fifth double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a thirty-three-square-meter kitchen-sitting area, and the house’s grandest, fifty-five-square-meter terrace.
The top-floor is entirely occupied by a spacious, living-and-dining room, giving access to the upper terrace, ideal for sunset viewing, open to star-lit skies
